Stories that begin with wonder
The literary identity
Behind the name, the stories
Elias Sahl is a literary pen name. This website brings together the novels, series and fictional worlds published under that name: an author identity, rather than a personal biography.
In stories by Elias Sahl, magic does not solve human contradictions: it makes them impossible to ignore. Talent may open a door, but it cannot decide who will let you through. And a character may do something extraordinary without yet knowing the price it will demand.
Ingrid Valmor is the first series featured here. It begins with a small, luminous act—a child making flowers bloom for her mother—and grows into a Grand School, an empire and the promises on which both claim to stand.
These stories are written for adult readers, making room for moral ambiguity, difficult choices, deep friendships and real consequences. Sometimes there is humour, too, even at the least appropriate moment.
The literary project
Beyond a single series
This website is the author’s home. For now, the focus is on the first two Ingrid Valmor novels, both complete and planned for November 1, 2026; other books and fictional worlds will have their place here in time.
